iTunes was running on Win2k. I got an update notice and updated to 4.1.

Now the CDrom has vanished. It is not seen by Win2k.

Uninstalled the drive, rebooted, it was found and appeared to install,
but is not seen. In troubleshooting, I get a code 19 error, 'probably
corrupt registry'

Any idea how to correct this? I am not at all familiar with the registry.

I can boot from the CDrom, so it is working.

Thanks in advance

I read that MS article and I'd bet that's it. I was going to post the
same question - and like a regular citizen I did a search of existing
posts first. I work in support and ran into this before. The only way
we could fix it was to reinstall windows fresh. Repair or reinstall
wouldn't do it. I'll try it tomorrow and let u know....damn, upgrade
Windows Media Player, DOH!
