Hi Folks:
In Excel 2000, I have a problem with seeing. The font in the sheet tabs is
so small I neeeed a magnifying glass.
The font is about 5 TTArial. Does anyone know how to make them Bigger??
My OS is ME>
Thanks!!

You can change the font size in the sheet tabs, by changing the scroll
bar size in the Windows display properties.

In Windows XP, you'd choose Start>Control Panel, Display, Appearance
tab, Advanced button, but it may be slightly different in Windows ME.

The size of the sheet tabs are governed by the setting for Scrollbars in
Windows Display Appearance. Mine are at 18. Start there and work your way
up or down. The font will increase or decrease with the size of sheet tabs.

So: with Excel Application closed.

Win98 as example...

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display > Appearance(WinXP
Appearance>Advanced)

"Item" drop down select Scrollbar

Change setting to Taste
Apply
OK

Depending upon your settings, you may have to re-boot to see the changes.

Well, Thank you so much guys and gals. Really appreciate that. I was using
XP, but was having memory problems that were related to the caching when
files over 8 meg were being copied, and it caused me problems with creating
CD's. Problems that I don't have with ME. Am even think of going all the way
back to 98. I like being able to configure the memory allocation straight
from DOS..Mooooooccchhhh Bettah!
Thanks again. Take care..
