Well, I succumbed to temptation and downloaded the latest last night, and its
the same things as last time giving grief!! Internet Explorer won't dial out
even though Windows Live Mail Desktop does!!! And that blasted Trent PC-illin
still saying "your anti-virus is out of date" despite the fact that thats why
you download it in the first place!!! Why are Micosoft still advising you to
load this program? I will be glad when they have it working with Windows Live
One Care as I love that program.
The good news is that it is working with my Sagem modem!!!

After installing Trend Micro have you done an update? It will give you that
message until you updated it.

I've tried to do an update, no joy! Nothing happens it just keeps as it is!!
I remember having problems with this program before, its switched Windows
firewall off, so can't switch that back on, its probably this that is
stopping IE from connecting to internet (although Windows Live Mail Desktop
is dialling out ok, and can't remove it, as it isn't listed in all programs!!
has done a hide myself job!! Sooner Microsoft get Vista working with Windows
Live One Care the better!!!

I have just a few moments ago seen a post in here, something to do with
certain routers (inc linksys) having a problem. This may be the cause of
your problem?
The post suggests to look for a post from Tom and he details a few fixes.
I know that seems vague, but if you do a person search you might come up
with a resolve.
