No am using windows xp sp2.

£129.99 from play.com for the Home version upgrade.

Microsoft Windows Vista Home: Premium Edition (DVD) £199.99

Even the basic version is £84.99 which lacks all.

But how many people would get a crack version of vista?

Sorry, but you can get Home Premium for around £70 ... while I agree that MS's pricing is somewhat OTT that still doesn't give any one the right to pilfer, steal or ripoff someone else's intellectual property.

If you don't agree with MS's pricing then there are alternatives ... with the exception of Linux, I think you will find any alternative will cost you more to implement.

Microsoft are a pain in the ass, their "invention" of at least six versions is even more confusing to 'Joe Public' than the price.

It is common knowledge that to buy any real software in China, including MS Vista, you will need to import it yourself.

The Mucks gospel of truth is opened once more.

You can only cut Microsoft down to size by not actually buying their products, and I, like most other people, am not prepared to do that while 90% of software is Windows only.
