items are added to ie6 headers and cant get rid of them

hi my wife has been clicking yes to questions and now my
search engine and add for a company call "mirar" shows all
the time and i cant get them to go away. they are not in
the tool bar menu. I don't know how to get my ie6 back to
the way is was. I have tried to delete it but when I re-
install I get a error about a newer version is installed
