I am using MS Word mail merge to send bulk email to a list of addresses from
MS Excel. Outlook is my email program. Everything works find except Outlook
repeatedly prompts me with the message "A program is trying to automatically
send email on your behalf. Do you want to allow this?" for every email
address in the list. Is there someway to disable this prompt?

Melissa,

This information was helpful. I even loaded the Advanced Security for
Outlook. However, it would not let me create an action for a call from MS
Word using simple MAPI. And since I use MS Outlook on a corporate exchange
server and there are no registry hacks to get around this, it looks like I am
stuck with the constant alerts.

Any other ideas???

With Office 2000, you're stuck with kludgy, insecure methods like Express
ClickYes. Later versions of Office can send HTML format mail merges with no
security prompts.
