Item, quantity, subtotal subform

Hi,
I am trying to get a subform to work in my sale screen. It needs 3 fields:
Item, Subtotal, Quantity.

No matter what I do i can't get it to work. Could someone please help. I am
only a beginner so please give step by step guide.

Open the Northwind sample database that installs with Acess.

Look at the relationship between Orders and Order Details (Relationships on
Tools menu.)

Examine the Orders form, and its subform--particularly the query that feeds
the subform.
