Hi Shane,

I am not sure what you really want to achieve.

Movie Maker can create Hi-Mat video CD's. They are only playable on
computers with Version 9 of DirectX and Media Player, or on DVD players
specifically marked with the Hi-MAT Video logo...there is only one company
that markets them as far as I know..."Kiss"

Hi-Mat uses video files of the WMV format, but you can create DV-AVI
format videos as well with Movie Maker. DV-AVI take a large amount of space
because of the quality and screen size displayed too. One hour is equal to
anything from 13 to 16GB per file.

Movie Maker will not burn to a DVD writer if it contains a DVD disc,
only if it contains a CD (but remember my first comment)

If you do not want the Hi-Mat overhead, simply save the video to the
2.1Mb/s format and onto your hard drive and then with whatever DVD/CD
writing software you have, transfer that video to the DVD/CD

Best Wishes.....John Kelly
