It won't share disks or folders.

I used to have a WIN 98 net (of 3 computers) which worked fine.
Then I tried to install WIN 2000 in one of them. Now I can see and
access the disks of the WIN 98 computers from each other and from the
WIN 2000 computer.

But I can't access any disk or device of the WIN 2000 computer from the
WIN 98 computers.

I can see it (the Win 2000 computer from the WIN 98 computers), but I
can't see any disk or device. When try to open the computer icon (in
windows explorer, net) if asks for a Password. I don't know which
password is that.

First my logon in the WIn 2000 computer was just ENTER. Then I tried to
use some password, and use the same password to try to access the disks
from the WIN 98 computers. But it didn't work either.

I did share the disks in WIN 2000. I knows I must do something else, but
I don't have a clue! I found nothing on WINDOWS 2000 HELP. It does
explain how to open internet explorer, and does explain how to "share"
the disk, but that doesn't seem to be enough.

Try creating a local user on the W2K computer that has the same username and
password as the username and password you use when logging on to the Win98
computers. If you don't login with any user/pw on those computer (it's a
long time since I even looked at Win98), make sure that the Guest account on
the W2K computer is enabled, and set a password for it. Also make sure it
has access to the share, and the folder itself (NTFS rights) if you use the
NTFS file system.
