It takes about 1 minute to connect to a network printer.

Hi,

My printer server has about 300 printers. It usually just takes about 3 to
5 secs to connect to any printers on a printer server. However, in the past
1 or 2 days, it is taking so long (about 1 mintute) to connect a printer on a
printer server. Please advise what counters I should use in Performance Log
diagnose this issue.

I would look for printers with long print queues and delete the queue. Often
the spooler will respond slow when this is the case. We have had servers
hanging just because two printers was offline and the print queue had a lot
of prints.
