It locks up

It seems to run a successful scan, then locks up, and I
have to use Task Manager to break it loose. And it
doesn't furnish details about what it is finding. It did
the very first time, never again. I would welcome direct
communication via email.
 
Does it detect any spyware programs? How far does it get?
Does it start to clean them? if so does it freeze on the
same program? Need a bit more information.
 
Yes it detects one spyware each time (I suspect it is the
same old ISTbar which seems to elude the best minds.)
It get as far as the results screen. It finds the spyware
but does not "treat" it. It can't - it's locked up on the
Results screen.
