Well, thats really good beacuse this is the major
benefit with MSAS. Much better then to daily scan your PC.

If you want to disable it, but why ??? Start > Run > msconfig
and uncheck MSAS to autostart.

All beta1 versions have worked this way, I believe.

Plun's given one useful workaround. The official one from Microsoft is the
"workaround" paragraph of this KB article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892375 End users may be prompted to allow or
block administrative actions that originate from a central management tool
after they install Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) on a computer that is managed
by Systems Management Server 2003

Being able to set MSAS to load at boot up is fine.

Setting it to NOT load up at startup and still having it
do so = SPYWARE itself

Gnxfan used his keyboard to write :

Spyware itself ? Explain ! Uncheck startup string within msconfig
for MSAS !

A lot of MSAS agents protecting all important functions within a
Windows PC, but it´s up to you if you want to use these agents
for real time protection.

Uninstall it you don´t like it.
