I had to start de-icing my car yesterday!

Too right!

It's "School Uniform" day at college today... for children in need so i have to wear a thin white shirt and a tie :(
 
I got the shortest straw ..I have to Cycle work at 5.30am and defrost our car for the Wife...
 
had to put hot water down the door jam this morning, damn thing was frozen firmly shut :mad:

It's bloody freezing


... and it will continue for another 5 days at least around here ... spare a thought for any infirm or elderly neighbour folks. I know how what its like when your bodies circulation is poor, you don't half feel it in your hands & feet. :(

I've had me gas fire on for three days non-stop ... wonder when I get me tenner of the government for my heating bill. :D
 
Its a little cool down here, but not that cold! what are the temps over there?
 
Where I am (Manchester - North West England) it's 6 degrees C! It's beautiful though - birght, sunny, and frosty :)

My favourite kind of weather - I'm loving it!
 
Its about 50 F in the morning, and mid 60s in the Afternoon
 
41F to a low of 30F tonight ... average over the next 5 days will be 33F night / 43F day ... Blackpool Airport Weather station. :D


Don't understand this centigrade stuff. :p
 
Down here it's about 10c, so definitely time for a fleece me thinks!:thumb:

I was just chatting to a friend in the Caribbean, and he said it was getting cooler over there too, apparently its expected to DROP to only 29c, yes 29c, this weekend!:rolleyes:

Poor bugger, he'll have to be careful of frostbite if it goes any lower ....;)

but as Bex says, bright blue skies and sunny, I like those days too :)

in fact, it so cold all the local brass monkeys have a distinctly worried look about them :D
 
Was outside all day at a rocket launch and I'm frooooooooooooooozen! At least it hasn't rained ;)
 
Yep, sure is cold - the road gritters have been out my way this evening!:(
 
Outside right now its 0'C so my cars frozen over and not looking forward to defrosting it in the morning....:(
