IT Film scanner

Just tried to hook up the IT version of a film/print blah blah scanner. Officially called the ITNS-500.
I get the nausiating 'cannot aquire...Restore DNS
Am running xp 64.
Any suggestions??
Tried downloading the latest drivers and still nothing.
