Can anyone out there help me get rid of ISTbar spyware. I
have tried all the remedies but NONE of them delete the
files permanently. I am running 2 antispyware programs and
they find the pest each time but still don't delete
them...? I have tried running my computer in Safe Mode and
deleting the HKEY registries but I am not able to delete
them. H E L P..

Hi Alli,
Please send in a Suspected Spyware Report, then boot into Safe Mode (F8 at
startup) and do a full scan of your system with MWAS.

I have the same problem with ISTbar and
Transponder.ABetterInternet.Aurora on my DELL Latitude
under MS SP.

Hi

Well, here you have a lot of URLs to solve your challenge !

Have you done any scans (Full scans) in safe mode ? Press F8 during
boot/start

Before all scans remove all temporarily junk, easiest with CCleaner,
www.ccleaner.com

Also run Lavasofts Adaware, standard tool for spyware removal

Plun,
Let's also give 615 a fighting chance here. I had a machine yesterday with
ABI on it, and a scan from safe mode knocked it straight to the curb.

Hi

Great news !

Reports I have says that MSAS don´t
remove the Aurora/Nail.exe variant.

Maybe time to visit abetterinternet myself ;)
