Hi,
The tasks scheduled to run at a particular time
everyday, stops automatically at the next run time, if
it's running already. This happens intermittently. Kindly
suggest.

Thanks,
Lydia.

Actually we have scheduled an exe to run everyday at a
particular time. It actually runs continuously for weeks
together. But now that process is getting killed at the
next run time. For instance if it's running today,
tommorrow at the scheduled time, it stops i.e the exe is
getting killed and the scheduled task is not getting
restarted again.

Any pointers will be of great help.

Thanks,
Lydia.

We collide with this problem. I find some another solution.
Create schedule task
Set schedule task: Daily
Start time (what time set, not impotent).
And then click: Advanced
Click: Repeat task
Every: 10 minutes
Until:
Duration: 9999 hour(s)
Uncheck "if the task is still running, stop it this time"
Then click OK.
In the tabs Settings uncheck all items.
Click OK and Run this schedule.
Even if exe is getting killed, this task run once again through 10 minutes.

Thanx a lot. That was a good work around. But still in my
scenario , I need to have just one instance of the task
running at any point of time. But this will cause multiple
instances of the task running right?
