Hi,

Yesterday I built a new pc. New hard drive, MOBO, ram, memory, intel Q6600
etc. Vista did install but with many problems. I downloaded all of the
updates, installed MOBO and VGA drivers. System runs extremely slow when
running any program, IE, closing different windows. I rebooted and the
updates when trying to shut down encountered and error. Now my vista is
listed as not genuine. How do I install windows with the correct drivers
etc. Also, how do I fix the performance issue. I have 2GB of Crucial
Ballistix. Is it possible my memory is configured incorrectly in
bios(running duel channel dims 1&3). Is there a problem with my hard drive
not being correctly configured in bios(Seagate 7200Rpm 250GB SATA.

I finally figured it out. I tried to download the Silicon SATA driver from
MSI and it corrupts my system registry. The installer doesn't fully finish.
I waited 30 minutes for it to finish at 98% complete and nothing happened.
Then my system froze. I could not reboot in safe mode. Here is the error

0xc000000f. It is a Windows\system32\registry\windows i think is what it
said. Is there another driver to properly configure SATA for Vista 32bit??
