I'm using MS Office 2000 Professional on XP. I'm facing a very peculiar issue with Excel, all other Office features work fine for me.
Whenever I double click on an excel file on my desktop or anywhere on the hard drive or network drive, I just get a blank excel window on screen. No matter how many times I double-click on excel files, it just keeps opening blank excel windows for me. However, if I try to open an excel file through File menu -> Open, and then browse for the file and click on Open button, it opens fine for me.
I want the file to open when I double-click on the file icon. Any help is eagerly awaited and will be greatly appreciated.
