My card is an X1950XT and my monitor is a Sony 23" WS (1920x1200). Today I
bought an LG 47" LCD TV (1920x1080) and connected it to my PC. My PC
successfully detected it as an LG LCD TV.
Here are two issues:
1. Does CCC remember the resolution of each monitor? When I switched to the
LG TV from the Sony, the resolution remained 1920x1200 and I had to set it
to 1920x1080. When I switched back to the Sony, the resolution remained
1920x1080 and I had to set it to 1920x1200. Am I missing something?
2. When trying to play some games that support WS (e.g., Call of Duty 2,
Company of Heroes) on the LG TV, it displayed an error message "invalid
format" and did not display anything. Is it because I set the aspect ratio
to 16:10 in those games, where as the TV's ratio is 16:9?!? The LG displayed
games that use the 4:3 aspect ratio with no problem.
Thanks.
