After installing Windows 2000 from Windows 98, my RAM gets
set to 260,000 KB when I know I have at least 64 MB on my
machine. How do I prevent it from doing this or who can I
contact?

If I am understanding what you are saying, Windows 2000 sees 260,000 KB
which is ~256 MEG. I suspect that is how much memory your system has.
