I am having trouble with accessing a shared folder/drive
from our network. It gives a message the computer has
reached its limit for connection and would not allow any
more connections to the drive/folder.
The network is setup in a workgroup environment where
win2000 prof is running on all machines. teh total number
of users on the network is 12 to 14.
There is no implemented limit on connections allowed on
the shared folder and the windows default max users
allowed is selected.
The question is there a limit on connections to a shared
drive/folder?or does win2000p accepts each connection to a
file as a live connection to that folder/drive. as there
are times when multiple files from the folder/drive are
accessed by different users .
