Issue with notes displaying

I have a PPT file that has notes for most of the slides. However, those notes
don't always show correctly between the three different views: Notes View,
Presenter View, & Normal (tri-pane) View. In most of the slides, the notes
can be viewed in Notes View, but not the other two views.

This file was composed from many different presentations, & it has also been
handled by many different users.

My company works with both Macs & PCs, but we do our primary work on Macs.
We have conducted tests between Office 2000 (PC), Office 2007 (PC), & Office
2004 (Mac), but have not been able to duplicate this issue.

Is this a commonly known problem? Is there a quick fix for my file?

Thanks for your time, Anne Kosmicki

One of the most common causes for this general type of problem is bouncing files
between PC/Mac and among different versions of PPT. For a multi-platform
office, my first suggestion would be to decide who's editing the show and on
what platform. Let others use the show as needed, but keep the editing on the
one platform and, if at all possible, version of PPT.

You could try reapplying the notes master to each of the notes pages; try
applying it several times in fact. Sometimes that helps.
