Hi! I've bought a Targus docking station for my Gateway Tablet. I've plugged
in my old keybord to use it instead of the laptop keyboard, and it works
fine, but *for typing* only. I'm not able to use any of the extra features
of the keyboard (My Pictures, Mail, Calculator etc. buttons.)

Any ideas on how I could fix this?

Thanks!

Just been through hell and back on this same issue with the ms wireless
elite keyboard and mouse combo trying to use a ps2 KVM... search my name
in the microsoft.public.windows.tabletpc group for more details.

....essentially what I discovered was that using any ps2->usb adapter
effectively filters out most of the additional keys and renders the
intellitype key customization inoperative.

For example, the Targus docking station I have contains two ps2->usb
adapters.

The wireless elite transmitter has both a ps2 and usb connector (with a
ps2 mouse adapter) and part of the solution was to use only the usb
connector for both the keyboard and mouse and connect that directly to
the computer... assume that's not possible with yours?

In my case, the final solution was to get a USB (only) KVM (Belkin
F1DS104U) and use only the usb connector.

Microsoft doesnt include PS/2 drivers with the latest software 6.1,it only
includes usb drivers. The earlier releases,4.0 or 5.0 series software might
have
the PS/2 drivers....
