Hi there..
I have a Maxtor Diamon 9 160GB SATA drive and i figured i wanted to install
Windows on it
I have made an integrated Windows cd with SP1 but this is not my problem..
I have tried booting Windows on a 6GB Maxtor i had, and it found my SATA in
Windows (with sp1).. but then i used Maxtors MaxBlast3 Partition program in
DOS and afterwards Windows cannot see the drive!!
I still see's it in Device Manager, but in the Manage -> Disk's thing it
cannot find anything.. even though it searches for about 1-2 minutes before
it reacts..
-- Back to the Windows intgr. SP1 Bootable CD.. in the install it also
searches for for drives quite some time, and when it comes to the "Select
partition for installation" screen.. it cannot see my SATA drive.. only the
words "Setup cannot acess the disk"..
I have tried deleting all partitions with DelPart.exe from Win NT 3.0.. but
it still doesnt matters..
Please help! I have tried MaxBlast3 over and over.. and Fdisk and
anything...
I can see the Drive in BIOS, Device Manager in Windows.. and in all the DOS
programs.. but it wont work!?
Please help me..
