Hello,

On a brand new PC (XP SP2 & Office 2003 SP2), I can't print the euro
currency symbol from within Office 2003 on a HP LaserJet 5000. The weird
thing, is that I can print the euro symbol from within Notepad !!! I
couldn't find a list of fonts that might or might not support the euro...

Does anyone have a clue ?

Thanks,

Xavier

It is ALT 0128 {?} using the numerical keypad in most of the common
font families. You can install an International Symbols toolbar in
Office 2003 programs from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...D2-39A4-4A01-8382-DFE35BCBAC03&displaylang=en
to make it easier.

Hi,

unless I misunderstood you, inserting the euro symbol is not the issue.
AltGr + "E" inserts the euro symbol in notepad, Word, Excel, etc... So
displaying the euro symbol in the applications works as expected.
However, if I create a simple string "you owe me 100000 " followed by the
euro sign (I don't do it here because I doubt everyone could read it), the
string prints correctly from Notepad, but the euro sign is missing if I
print the string from within Word or from an Excel cell.

Thanks,

Xavier
