when I click on the "Recover deleted items" function to recover deleted
email each time, Outlook has crashed and has an error message below,

"OUTLOOK.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will
need to restart the program. An error log is being created."

It is Outlook 2000 SP3 and works with Exchange 2000 server. what 's wrong?
Could anyone please tell me how to fix it?

What exactly is being logged to the Event Viewer?

What application is mentioned in the rule "The application, , generated..."
Is it Outlook? What is the version/built number? (Help-> About)

What operating do you use and what servicepack level is it? Also; are all
the updates applied to Exchange?

There are some known issues when you access an Exchange mailbox with Outlook
2000 while you have connected to it with Outlook 2003 before.

Note that applying Exchange SP4 should fix it as well as this is a post SP3
fix.
