Issue Edit,Copy,Paste through VBA with the Local Option

Can the following command be issued with VBA on a table:

Edit,Copy,Paste and then rename the table and select local

(I issued this command manually and it successfully copied a linked table to
a local table.)
 
I'm using CopyObject to make of backup of BE data, but, if I try to use that
file to import to another computer, it looks for the linked database, and
doesn't succeed. How do you backup the BE data to create a fresh table that
is not linked?
