Issue between Adobe Acrobat 8.1.3 and Windows Vista

Need Help!!
Whenever I try to open any PDF documents received in Outlook as attachments,
they try to open in Microsoft Word but get scrambled. If I try to convert a
Word document to and PDF file and save it, when I try to open it is tries to
open in Word instead of Adobe Acrobat. What gives?

The association for pdf files is set improperly. Word is not the
program to open pdf files. You need to open it in Adobe Reader (the
most common such program most people use), Adobe Acrobat, or some
compatible program. To reset the association, right-click on any pdf
file, click Open with, choose your pdf reading program, and make sure
the box "Always use this program..." is checked.
