Hi,

I have a ISSCBTA Bluetooth USB Dongle plugged into my computer running
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition x64 RTM.

It does not have the drivers for this USB Dongle. Can anyone suggest how to
make this work, or where to get the drivers from?

Akhilesh Agarwal

The company I got the dongle from is http://www.entermultimedia.com

Unfortunately, they are not providing the drivers for this dongle on Windows
Vista.

Is there a company who sells generic drivers for ISSC based USB Bluetooth? I
don't mind paying for it if it makes this device work.

Regards,

Akhilesh Agarwal

You'd need to contact the company that made, or sells, the device to get
drivers.

Probably not. If you knew who made the chipset you might be able to find
compatible drivers (some such devices, for example, use the "Broadcom
Ultimate Low Cost Bluetooth" chipset) but that may or may not be likely.

From what I know it uses a CSR based chipset. I tried drivers from Broadcom
and Bluesoleil. They install the drivers for my bluetooth USB dongle, but
because they are unsigned, Windows Vista does not allow them to be
activated.

If I press F8 during boot process and allow unsigned drivers to be loaded
the USB dongle works. But if I reboot it stops working again.

Basically, I need to get signed drivers from somewhere for a CSR based
chipset for my USB dongle and which works under Windows Vista x64.

I have the same problem except that I bought and paid for driver software from Blue Soleil and they supply the software for 99% of the generic bluetooth dongles. Their reply a couple of months ago was less than satisfactory..

on 18th November 2006 I wrote and asked them for vista drivers on 20th they said their engineers were hard at work. on 21st November I asked them to keep me updated as I had PAID for their software. To date NO REPLY!!
