Isolating two networks

I am merging three businesses in four weeks. Two of the companies must
remain separated (for legal purposes) but the parent company needs to
have access to the data and resources of the other two. Currently I
have one Cisco 3620 router, a HP switch, two linksys switches (16
ports each) and one firewall.

What are my best tactics for this? Ultimately I would like to have two
different subnets (one company would be on a 192.168.xx.xx and the
other on something like a 172.xx.xx.xx) If I do that what do I need
for the main company to connect with both companies?

Would it be possible to have company 1 gain access to a shared data
folder on company 2's server?

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what kind of firewall you have, but, this is certainly
possible. I've worked in a similiar situation - just 600 some odd companies
out there.

You'll need to set up firewall rules and routing such that RPC traffic and
stuch flows from your location to the others, and you'l need to block such
traffic between the toher two subnets as appropriate.
