I'm looking for a tool for mounting an ISO file as a CD drive (like daemon
tool). Unfortunately daemon tools is not running (the driver is not present
after a boot). Does anyone know a solution for my problem ?

Yeh - also, if that version doesn't work, please check
http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome.php?getstarted and option 3 for a version
(3.47) which is almost guaranteed to work. I've run it on every Vista
version possible and it still works really well :o)

Correction: I was unable to get Nero 7 to Install on X64 Beta 2, just FYI.

Don't care.

goggle a software called Virtual CloneDrive. it works in all builds of
Windows Vista. that what I use.
others tend to mess up your activation for some reason.

What is your problem, Mr. Vistabase? You're going out and giving
incorrect/incomplete information. You should care.

No version of the Daemon Tools was released after beta 2. A lot of stuff
that worked in earlier betas won't work in beta 2.

Only don't care referring to Kevin. Daemon Tools 3.47 should work absolutley
fine for x86 machines
(http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=Download&id=34) and here
you can find a x64 version
(http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5) -
but 4.0.3 should work absolutley fine on a x64 machine seeing as I've used
it on my own :os

VCD installs and works fine on Beta 2, but it made my system run REALLY slow.
Now that I finally got it removed, it's running like a jackrabbit.

Do you have to do anything special to get it to work in Vista Beta 2 (x86)?
I use it all the time in XP, but I can't get it to work in Vista. I set the
property for it to run as an Admin. After installing it, windows popped an
error something about an IO service. VirtualCD seems to work fine - I mounted
an ISO - but when I try to access that drive letter windows cannot find it
(and it does not show up in the list of drives in Vista).
