But at some point, isn't it going to try to re-boot and finish the
installation from Vista? Where will it get it's files then?

Actually, what I did was used one of the two above (I could never get Daemon
to work once I installed B2), open the ISO file, and copy the files to the HD
to a temp Dir. Then I ran the install from there. Windows will know where
to find the files, because it started there. However, I did Install B2 using
Daemon, and at the reboot, it still worked. I think Windows automatically
copies the files to a temp directory, so I knows where the Install files are
at.

Hope this is not too confusing. Just know it will work under a virtual disk
Program.

I used PowerISO to install to VPC 2007. Had grief installing from DVD, and
it seems I wasn't alone in that. No problems using the ISO directly. I
just wasn't sure how something like that would work when doing a complete
install, but didn't think about copying the files to the HD.

it has already copied the needed files to the hard drive.

Where did you get .ISO file(s) for VPC 2007? The 2 files I
downloaded, x86 & x64, from Microsoft Connect were both .exe
files. All I did was start the setup.exe for the respective
VPC 2007 version. No CD or DVD was involved.

Sorry about the misunderstanding. The ISO file I referred to was the Vista
RC2 ISO file. I used the ISO file to install Vista TO VPC 2007.

The VPC 2007 "stuff" I downloaded was an executable file, not an ISO.
