Hello,
I have a client who is having problems using isdn to get email from his provider planet internet. The problem is that in 3 of the 5 times the connection stalls and the notebook hangs. The notebook is a cpq nx7010 which has windows xp pro sp1A installed on it. The isdn connection is established using a dynalink D128pc+ pc card.
When browsing the internet there are no problems encountered. If he tries to get his email things go wrong. The size off the email does not matter it seems. The eventviewer does not registrate a problem neither does a BSOD appear. Running the notebook on or off the network does not make a difference.
I saw that there is a possibility to enter some initialisation information prior a connection. Maybe it has something to do with this?
Does anyone encountered this kind off problem before?
