Hi all. I hope this is the right forum for this question. I have a
PC-based O-scope that uses an ISA card for interfaceing that we would
like to use on our laptop (automotive diagnostics business) and was
wondering if there is some way possible to make this work. I found a
company that has a ISA to USB adapter, but says it may require
re-engineering the software to work with USB, which I have no knowlege
in. The scope manufacturer has since been bought out and there is no
support for it. If anyone has any suggestions, please fire away.
Thanks,

Alex

Find a cheap, small PC with ISA slots (A Compaq Prolina for example) and
mount an LCD panel to the side of it... If you need to run it mobile, you
could use a power inverter.

Thanks,

Run out and buy the 69 USD special at Directron.com. You will then
have a machine with ISA slots. Not a laptop, they don't have ISA
slots.

Take a look at http://www.picotech.com/auto/
if you want. Probably cheaper than your 'converter' :-)
And continuing support :-)
