Winforms does not seem to be getting a lot of attention from Microsoft.
I'm sure winforms is not going away, but is it becoming rather static? I
have looked at wpf and silverlight and even in the vs2010 beta they seem
to be harder to build crud type user interfaces with. Assuming that
winforms can be used over internet based network connections, they still
seem like perhaps the best platform for building LOB applications?
There also seem to be few online resources for winforms.
WindowsClient.net is pretty slow moving...what are other useful
resources?
Oh, and everywhere you read about winforms 2.0. That's dating from vs
2005 right? Is there any later version of winforms?
