IN 97 I used save as HTML then a Publish to the Web Wizard popped up - I
can't find that feature in 200 which seems a retrograde step so maybe I am
missing something - can anyone assist me please

Thanks

John

I have Acc2002 & I can create an HTML doc of a report by:

1. highlighting the report in the db window;
2. on the main menu clicking File > Export
in the File open/save dialog select HTML from the File Type
combo box - click OK;
3. HTML output options dialog appears - select the encoding type
- click OK;
4. Report should run & export it's data to the file name selected in
2.

This procedure can be used on other applicable objects in the db
window.

Thank you for that but I need to publish 80 pages from 80 queries - in 97
there was a publishing wizard that enabled me to do this in two to three
keystrokes - that appears to have gone!!!

That wizard was in the ValuPack folder of the Access 97 or Office 97
CD. I didn't find anything like it on my ACCXP CD. Perhaps you can
find it on the MS knowledge base and convert it to ACCXP.

- From the AccXP help files on publishing to the web:

"If you need to export multiple tables, queries, forms, and reports,
you can automate the operation by creating a macro or creating a
Visual Basic for Applications program. This is particularly useful
when you frequently export tables, queries, forms, and reports to test
and build a Web site."

Which seems to imply that the "Publish to the Web Wizard" does not
exist in AccXP.
