Is this possible under these circumstances?

Our domain is on a 192.168.xx network. One domain controller(we will call
'Test1') has duel network cards. One being 192.168.x.x, the other 10.1.x.x.
Can another machine( with an address of 10.1.x.x) become a domain controller
on the 192.168.x.x network being plugged into a hub which is plugged into
Test1's 10.1.xx card? I know how this would normally be done, I am just
curious if it is possible under these circumstances. Thanks.

No. It can be on a different subnet, but it needs to go through a router to
get to the first DC at the proper nic (192.168.*.*). The duel homed server
could be setup with RRAS to act as a router, but running a duel homed DC is
already asking for trouble,...let alone trying to make it be a router on top
of that.
