I'm thinking of buy this mobo, anyone know about this board? can you tell
me if there is something nasty (or good) that I need to know about

Good board. I think the X means it supports gigabyte lan (1000) and
the non-X version don't. It's the newest board in that series. I have
the A7N8X Deluxe and it is fine.
