Is ultra a good brand?

Ultra is not a manufacturer of chips or modules, is a generic
description. If no further name-brand is offered, it's most likely a
generic "brand", of unknown and possibly variable quality.

what about "crucial"

What about it?

I'd sooner use Crucial for PC3200, while any-old PC2100 (so long as
it's not really really low-quality) is probably worth 133MHz these
days.

FWIW I've only heard good things about Crucial, and the PC mags I get rave
about it.
