Is this even possible, would be cool if you could do this in acces

I have a query that I search for a word, or words using this statement in the
query.

Like "*" & [Type anything you wish to search] & "*"

It works, But it there a way access can hightlight the word in the record
that it found.

You can do this in Access 2007. See:
Highlight matches - Matching characters of search results
highlighted in text box
at:
http://allenbrowne.com/AppSearchHighlight.html

The article contains a (free) downloadable sample database so you can see
how it works.

It takes advantage of the new rich-text text box in A2007 to highlight the
matching text.

different places.
