Is this definitely a hardware problem or could asp.net cause this somehow?

....hopefully not a stupid question, but I'm getting the following error in
the event viewer of a W2003 server running IIS6 and vb.net and a similar
error in the app itself at the point where the application accesses a mysql
database. Is there any explanation other than a bad stick of memory? The app
was running fine prior to today and I only made minor changes today.
Thanks

Jeff
