Can anybody help?? Is this an OFFICE issue or XP issue??
All I want to be able to do is to RIGHT CLICK on a file in My Documents and
have the SEND TO/MAIL RECIPIENT command open with OFFICE OUTLOOK rather than
EXPRESS.
Also, when I access my mail by clicking the Mail icon on the IE 6 toolbar,
the Read Mail command will open Office Outlook and all the send message
commands (new message, send as a link, send page) open with Express.
I am running XP Pro and use Office Outlook 2003 for my default mail program.
I have checked all the appropriate boxes to make Office Outlook the default.
I have even deleted my mail accounts in Express.
This includes setting TOOLS/OPTIONS/OTHER in Office Outlook to be the
default program for Email, Contacts, and Calendar.
This includes that the TOOLS/OPTIONS/GENERAL setting in Outlook Express is
set such that Express is NOT the Default Mail handler.
I have checked Internet Explorer 6 - TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/PROGRAMS
numerous times to ensure that the appropriate programs are selected.
thanks for your time.
