services to our Windows 2000 machines
any ideas if its a virus causing it

A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C0230813 in VXD VMM(OD) + 00001813

Some computers are now getting

a 32 bit device driver has a coruppted critical system memory resulting in
exception OE in 0028:C0230813 in VXD VMM(OD) + 00001813

Please help

I was about to say... MM generally refers to "MultiMedia". Try
updating all the video drivers.

Zero-E: This is the typical message of a broken device driver. Yet the
problem is: it resides somewhere within the monolithic block of the
vmm32.vxd; which is a compilation of various standard Windows device
drivers. Because of that, it is hard to tell which device is sitting at
the root of the problem. Try the network first.
