Is this a legitimate web site or a 'phish'?

I've received an e-mail apparently from microsoft and I'm not sure if it's
legitimate. (What initially made me suspicious was that none of the graphic
images display correctly.)

The subject of the email is 'Complimentary Microsoft Web Development Kit'.
The return path is
'30_63734_9ooq1/[email protected]'. The email
itself promotes a 'Microsoft Web Development Learning Series' and the
registration link takes you to a site called 'www.learn2asp.net'.

What makes me most suspicious though is the text: 'Complete two
webcasts-live or on demand-and/or Virtual Labs by June 30, 2007, and receive
Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition and selected e-chapters
from over 5 books focused on Web development, including Microsoft® ASP.NET
2.0 Step by Step by George Shepherd.** '

The Visual Web Developer Express is already free so what's the point of this
blurb?
