Is this a faxmodem?

My laptop has a Windows modem chip described as follows:
PCTel 2304WT V.92 MDC

I would like to know if this chip supports fax before I go and purchase
faxing software. The hardware info utility AIDA32 v. 3.93 does not reveal
anything about the chip's capability.

It's amazing what you can find using Google in all of 0.05 sec.. It is
a Data/Fax modem according to this.
