Is there software to keep track of ink use?

I have a Canon ip4200 which I am refilling. It works great, and I check
the black ink cart from time to time to make sure there is plenty there.
I also have a reminder calendar to remind me to check the carts.

But it would be nice to have a simple program that monitors printer use
and gives an approximate ink cart use and displays that, like the ip4200
does during printing.

Anything like that out there?

wow this printer is so new that the relabelers are not even making their
false claims of having generic ink for this printer. this printer takes
canon's new formula. it also has a chip that encourages the use of
canon ink.

Actually Measekite many months back you complained about one vender
who's red changed color without telling anyone. From my understanding
this was due to the new formula for Canon which has been out over a
year. So you your self are 100% aware that 3rd party mfgs have had a
ink solution for the new printers.

Hobbicolors has an ink match, Image Specalists has an ink match, weink
has the rc100, and there are others. The cli-8 printers have been out
in the states for 8 months, you can hardly call them "new" and they
employ ink used in japan in the bci-7 tanks for at least two years.
