Is there no way to escape AOL???
I just installed, on my new build, the drivers and software for my Audigy 2
soundcard. After all is done I ended up with a shortcut to AOL on my desktop,
which I promptly deleted. However, I then did a search for files that have aol
in them using the Windows utility and, needless to say, 5 or 6 files and
folders located in various locations showed up. Is it safe to delete these or
are they somehow entwined with the Audigy 2 software (as they are located in
obscure locations, not on my program menu, in different locations) and would it
somehow be problematic to the software I want to randomely delete these files
that show up in the search???
Very irritating that AOL is...did not ask any permission at all.
