Is there anyway to disable truetype font on Vista

Truetype looks good most of the time but I'd like to know if there is a
place to disable it.

Go to Control Panel : Personalization, then Window Color and Appearance,
then click the link "Open classic appearance properties for more color
options".
Here, you will find the options you are looking for.
And its called ClearType, not truetype.
 
Cleartype is on by default in Vista.
