Is there anyway to add chapters?

I can imagine that adding breaks would work but i can't see any official
automated way of adding chapters e.g. every 5 mins

I can even see the word 'chapter' in the help file except to define one

I guess you know this is a WinXP newsgroup?

Anyway...the only solution I've seen for the task
you describe is to create separate clips of the
duration you require.

couple things

1/ It suggests in the link you gave that Win DVD maker adds chapters
automatically which is all i need - thanks!

2/ Wouldn't just adding splits create custom chapter markers (rather than
chopping the project into chunks, saving them all seperately and then
stitching them back together again)?

Actually i'll be able to answer these myself shortly since i'm creating a
DVD and split it into sections hoping it would chapter it - if i end up with
two lots of chapters then both are true
