Dear all

Is there any resource where I can find a list of known
issues related to the native mode of the Win2k Active dir?

For the change to native mode I have to be absolutely sure
that there are no surprises afterwards.

Are there any other consequenses of migrating to native
mode than that there are no NT40 bdc's anymore?

thanks, alex

No. Mixed mode was made only because of NT4 BDC's. If you don't have them,
them switch mode.

Native mode just means that there are no BDCs left, it
removes the Primary/Backup relationship in the domain.
There is no effect on authentication etc so there will not
be any problems.

As long as you don't have any NT4 BDCs you can safely switch to native mode.

After you switch you will also gain the ability to use Universal Groups,
which are extremely useful.
